This was stated by WHO Director-General Tedros AdhanomGhebreyesus in his daily briefing on coronavirus, stating that "there are currently 2074 cases outside of China in 28 countries and 23 dead". "All countries - he added - must give priority to the protection of health workers. And the community must protect the weakest sections, the oldest and those with previous health conditions".
