Coronavirus in Argentina: there are at least eight suspected cases under study

At least eight people were being evaluated on Wednesday in different parts of Argentina for presenting symptoms compatible with the coronavirus. Six of the suspicious patients live in Greater Buenos Aires, one in Entre Ríos and another in Córdoba.

As reported by the Ministry of Health of the Nation, among the analyzed Buenos Aires are the four members of a Berazategui family, one person in Talar de Pacheco and another in Tres de Febrero . All of them were submitted to the protocol and were isolated until the studies show results.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old from Cordoba and a 44-year-old from Concordia, are hospitalized in hospitals in their provinces after returning from trips to northern Italy and presenting symptoms compatible with the coronavirus.

On Tuesday, after several false alarms at Ezeiza airport and more than 35 suspected cases that showed negative results, the first case of coronavirus in Argentina was confirmed: the affected patient is 43 years old and contracted the virus during a trip to Italy .

The infected was isolated at the Swiss Medical Center in Barrio Norte. Later, he was transferred to the Sanatorio Agote, of the same medical group.

In addition, the Ministry of Health made contact with six travelers who shared the flight with him , as well as with his brother, who was the one who searched for him at the airport after his arrival in the country, to be isolated for 14 days.

According to sources in the portfolio conducted by Ginés González García, every afternoon, at 19, an official part will be provided with information on the evolution of the patients analyzed.
