We are moving towards the postponement of the match of the 6 Nations rugby tournament Italy-England, scheduled for the Olimpico in Rome on Saturday 14 March. The British press writes this, as a consequence of the measures taken by the Italian government to counter the spread of coronavirus infection. The stadium was fully booked also because, given the postponement of the match with Ireland on Saturday 7, this would have been the last chance for Sergio Parisse to wear the national team shirt and greet his fans.
The game was in fact played with the public. But the decree issued yesterday ordered that all sporting events in Italy be held behind closed doors until April 3.
