The 18-year-old girl who died with brain death after a tonsil operation died on Wednesday. Julieta Viñales' family denounced the doctor at the Rawson hospital in San Juan who treated her for malpractice.
"They destroyed my life , they took me one of my most important treasures that God gave me. I fully trusted that you were going to be a miracle," Julieta's mother said, in a heartbreaking message she published on social media.
There, the mother of the deceased girl sentenced: "Give me strength to continue living without your presence, give me strength to do justice and have that beast pay for what he did, God and justice will take care of it."
How was the case
According to the reconstruction of the local media, Julieta left the hospital shortly after surgery, but hours later she began to vomit blood and, after being hospitalized, finally three days later she suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest.
Diario de Cuyo published that the family recalled that to the initial list of medications that the doctor indicated to Juliet, "after operating it added another for the control of hemorrhages."
Julieta, who lived in Buenos Aires where she studied Medicine, took advantage of the summer break to visit her family in San Juan and it was there that she made the consultation that finally led to an unthinkable tragedy.
