Trump assesses action to protect Americans without health insurance

Coronavirus is likely to put a strain on the fundamentals of the American health system. Not so much in terms of structures but in terms of costs. A concern that does not escape the Trump administration. According to rumors, the White House is considering using a national natural disaster plan to pay for hospitals and doctors treating patients who don't have health insurance.

In 2018, about 27.5 million Americans, or 8.5% of the population, did not have health insurance, even temporary.
