If you ask HR managers at the end of the interview to ask questions, you can score again. Especially if the questions are chosen wisely.
During the interview, everything has to be right so that job seekers also leave a good impression: a wrinkle-free outfit, confident appearance and punctuality are the minimum. However, in order to impress HR staff over the long term and stand out from the mass of applicants, applicants should also think about clever questions.
Interview: Questions should be chosen wisely
The famous phrase "Do you have any questions?" comes as surely at the end of the interview as the amen in the church. But be careful: the question is not the same. While some sound thoughtful and intelligent, others can backfire.
The US psychologist Adam Grant from the renowned Wharton School knows the question with which people in HR personnel have a positive memory: "If you changed something in the company, what would it be?"
In his view, this is the most impressive question he has heard from applicants so far. "By getting the other person to look at your organization from a new perspective, you signal curiosity and creativity," says Grant in his video series "Work in 60 Minutes".

Applicants can calmly turn the tables in the job interview
Such questions are usually asked to applicants to find out to what extent they have dealt with the company. However, if you turn the tables, you can definitely score. Another question that, according to Grant, is impressive: "If you could have another job at this company, what would it be?" It will undoubtedly make your conversation partner think.
