Last year, Gaumont set up a team in London to create series. Finally Newen, the production subsidiary of the TF1 group, has just teamed up with Gub Neal, the famous producer of The Fall who directed Granada TV and Channel 4. After having long refused to buy a British producer - project judged too expensive and perilous -, Newen finally decided to create a joint company, baptized Ringside Studios, with this size of the trade. All these French groups join the precursor Studiocanal in London, established across the Channel since 1999.
