(ANSA) - MILAN, MAR 10 - No rebound for Borseeuropee, returning from the worst collapse since the time of Lehman Brothers' failure, with Piazza Affari still wearing a black shirt and leaving another 3.28% on the field. The FtseMib index, which had gained up to 3.8% in the morning, closed at 17,870 points, marking a new low since December 2016. Since the coronavirus emergency broke out, Listinomilanese has lost almost 30% of its value.
The other stock exchanges in the old continent also suffered badly in the wake of Wall Street's nervousness, with investors waiting for certain indications on the timing and size of measures to support the economy by governments and central banks. Madrid lost 3.21%, Paris 1.51%, Frankfurt 1.41% while London managed to keep the decline down to 0.09%.
