(ANSA) - GENOA, MARCH 12 - The Carlo Felice Theater in Genovanon stays at home, or rather, it comes out and, drawing on its video archive, it will bring opera, symphonic and ballet music into the houses online. The initiative, shared with the Foundation, is called "#musicalmenteinsieme" and starts tonight, 12 March. "The theater - explained the superintendent Claudio Orazi - remains close to its audience even in the distance imposed by the coronavirus emergency". The broadcasts will be proposed at 8 pm on a daily basis, according to a schedule that will be communicated via social media and will be introduced by a greeting from the Superintendent and a testimonial. It begins with "Simon Boccanegra" by Giuseppe Verdi, staged in 2019 with the direction of Andriy Yurkevich. Among the next titles a symphonic concert, "The Nutcracker" of 2018 (Saturday) and "La bohème" of 2019 (Sunday).
