(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 12 - ROME - The seven checks arrested by the Carabinierie carried out in Rome and its province were reported to seven people arrested for the verification of compliance with the urgent measures decided by the various decrees to contain the spread of the coronavirus. The seven, all of foreign origin between the ages of 36 and 69, were arrested in the Eur area, near Metro B, where the carabinieri surprised them while playing cards sitting on the benches and around a table.
The group, after trying in vain to get away to escape the military, was arrested for control. Each of them has signed the personal self-certification declaration, falsely certifying that they are outside the home due to proven work needs. But after the tests, they were arrested for making a false statement to a public official.
The arrest was validated and the seven were then placed in free form with "validation on the loose", on the orders of the judicial authority.
