A barrage of confined tortillas

We never have. We made some technical mistakes. The potatoes were toasted too much, the omelette stuck to me and I lost a couple of years of life to my nerves. But friends, cooking live omelette and broadcasting it live was worth it, because many of you have told us that you had a good time and that you forgot for a moment about the coronavirus crisis. There is no better compliment than that.

The most gratifying part of the experience was, without a doubt, your response. A lot of confined tortillas made at the same time as ours were published on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the jaskat #TortillaConfinada, most of them looking very good. If they were good, it was probably thanks to your culinary expertise, but if the advice we gave during the broadcast served someone to learn how to prepare or improve this dish, we are already satisfied.

For the next broadcast, which will most likely be next Wednesday, we will try to correct some flaws: improve the sound -the mike we had failed us-, less chatter at the beginning -we have to get into the matter faster-, more interaction and, above all everything except nerves. Because in the end it is not about the dish being perfect, but about having fun.

Well, since yesterday I spent a shitty day reading apocalyptic news, today I made the decision to connect to the networks only for important things like the #tortillaconfinada by @elcomidista. Yes, I have some creepy pints. Yes, the peppers are of average quality. Yes, I carry the #shundeandromeda mythcloth in my hand because I wanted to take some geek photo that has not given me time at the end. Yes, my cat #sauron has watched me as a #masterchef judge all along. And yes, I have had to make two mini tortillas because the only decent bowl I have is tiny. Oh, and although it is not seen in the report, the oil has burned while I went to the balcony to give the saucepan. The result? I have had a great time and they were also very rich. Thank you very much, @mikeliturriaga. And to top off the night #dirtydancing on TV and my cat on top. Today has been a much better day.

It is delicious, although it does not exceed the classic house omelette, but we have laughed a lot with the live show.
