Individual products of the vacuum cleaner series from the supplier EIE Import Gesellschaft mbH from Austria are affected by the recall , Aldi informs. However, only special versions of the vacuum cleaner are at risk of going up in flames when used. There is "the risk that the battery will burn during the charging process ".

Only vacuum cleaners with a special “ cyclone system ” (Li-Ion 22.2 V, 2500 mAh, 130 W) are recalled. Devices of the " Easy Home " brand in the two colors blue and red (EAN 4088500215496 and 4088500215502) are affected, according to a message from the discounter.
Preventive consumer protection has prompted Aldi to withdraw the product from the market. Accordingly, it is no longer available for sale in the branches. Anyone who has already purchased the product is urged not to continue using it.
