On Thursday evening, 24 hours after the medical equipment procurement operation began, the Ministry of Defense Procurement (Directorate), according to the Ministry of Health's demand, issued the first orders. 1,000 machines will be assembled in Israel and 1,500 more will be imported from abroad.
The Director of Procurement in the Ministry of Defense (Director) and the Ministry of Health are partners in the national effort to provide a vital response to the citizens of the State of Israel. The first machinery supplies are expected to commence within a month and a half and will continue until the summer months. The procurement manager also recruited the International Conveyancing Unit in Israel to help bring equipment to Israel. .
The Ministry of Defense said it will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Health in locating and procuring additional measures as needed.
