Italy earns another pass for Tokyo 2020. The promotion comes thanks to karate, also in light of the cancellation of the Madrid Premier League, which was scheduled for 17 to 19 April. The cancellation of the event arithmetically allowed Angelo Crescenzo to detach the ticket for the Olympics in the kumite, category -67 kg. It is the fourth qualified in this discipline, which will be among the novelties of the Olympic program in Japan. The blues qualified for Tokyo 2020 rise to 208 (107 men, 101 women) divided into 24 different disciplines and with 20 individual passes.
