(ANSA) - LONDON, MARCH 22 - Boris Johnson has formalized the mandatory quarantine directive for 12 weeks for approximately 1.5 million vulnerable, elderly and malaticronic people, contacted in the last hours by a notice from the national health system (NHS). All were promised assistance, given that - for their protection - they will not be able to go out even out of expectation. The prime minister spoke of the need for "unprecedented" restrictions, such as the closure of premises, to "slow down" the infections and "save thousands of human lives".
