In this period of intense news, the TF1 group had decided to pool the strengths between the newsrooms of the TF1 and LCI channels. The morning of TF1 left the antenna to the morning of LCI. In the name of respecting the PAF balances, the CSA asked TF1 to stop this morning news. After negotiations which lasted all weekend, the CSA and TF1 reached an agreement. TF1 and LCI will no longer work together in the morning.
The TF1 group specifies that " the channel, as a responsible player in a disrupted audiovisual landscape, has made the decision not to broadcast LCI's morning broadcast on its antenna ".
On the other hand, the agreement provides that LCI will broadcast on its antenna the JT of 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. of TF1.
