Toura is a delivery man and Louis-Gabriel, a cashier in a supermarket in Paris. They work in professions that require them to be in contact with customers during the coronavirus pandemic, sometimes without wearing a mask and therefore taking the risk of being exposed to Covid-19. The lack of equipment and the rapid spread of the virus worried the two employees.
Louis-Gabriel, a supermarket employee, resents the authorities: "Ask people to make efforts without providing the minimum to reassure them?" The people who are on the front lines, who allow the minimum to work […] I admit that today, it causes me a lot of anger! "
Toura also works unprotected when it brings customers' errands to their halls. He does it for "the old people who cannot go out" but remains worried about his health "We are afraid but we have no choice".
The government will consult its Scientific Council for professions in contact with the public who demand masks, such as distribution trades. The Minister of Health has already announced that the masks will be given priority to health workers for the next two weeks.
