(ANSA) - PARIS, MARCH 24 - The famous Cameroonian saxophonist and jazz legend, Manu Dibango, died of a coronavirus at the age of 86: ThierryDurepaire, director of the artist's musical editions, announced this.
The author of one of the biggest hits of global music - 'Soul Makossa' from 1972 - is the first world celebrity to die of the virus. Dibango, Durpaire said, "died early in the morning in a hospital in the Paris region."
