(ANSA) - ANCONA, APRIL 5 - Coal, the dialimentalist Marche Cooperative, active in 6 regions (Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Lazio, Molise and Romagna as well as in San Marino) in over 250 Municipalities, with over 300 stores and 4 brands (Coal, Sigma, Eccomi and D'Italy) accepted the invitation to support the health structures of the Marches and Abruzzo in this dramatic moment in which Covid-19 brought entire Italy to its knees. The Board of Directors of the Cooperative has approved a donation of over 350 thousand euros for the two regions.
President Carlo Palmieri stressed that it is "absolutely natural, for a company that lives in its own territory as Coal, to be at the side of those who, in these endless days, are fighting on the front lines in hospitals, and not only, this war: doctors, nurses, staff hospitals and associations associated with them ". The Coal donation supports Project 100 of the Marche Region and for Abruzzo for the purchase of high protection material for sanitary workers.
