These are the two books everyone is talking about! Two trials directly linked to the global pandemic. And who sells like hotcakes in France.

The first was published… a decade ago. Prefaced by the journalist and historian Alexandre Adler, this work, hitherto confidential, is enjoying a new life thanks to social networks. The essay "The New CIA Report: How will the world be in 2025?" "Released in February 2009 by Robert Laffont, is quite chilling in its premonitions. Eleven years ago, its (anonymous) author wrote: "The emergence of a new virulent and extremely contagious human respiratory disease, for which there is no treatment, could trigger a global pandemic".

Or again: "If a pandemic disease is declared, it will undoubtedly be in a densely populated area, with close proximity between humans and animals, as there is in China and in Southeast Asia. "

The book called the new CIA report "How will the world of tomorrow be?" written by Alexandre Adler.

Word of mouth on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks made him an incredible publicity. Sold 7.99 euros for its digital version against 17.50 euros for the paper edition, it is currently in volumes (number of copies sold), the best-selling book, all genres combined, on the Fnac website. In value (turnover generated), it rose to 8th place.

Very good start also for "Epidemics, real dangers and false alarms" of Professor Didier Raoult, released only ten days ago at Michel Lafon. The trial of the Marseille infectious disease specialist who claims to have found "the" most effective remedy for treating patients with Covid-19 has already sold 17,000 copies in its paper version. "It has benefited from a circulation of 27,000 copies and we are planning a new circulation of 10,000 copies", welcomes its editor, Elsa Lafon. She recalls that it is the only book published while the bookstores are closed. It can be found in supermarkets. In digital version, 8000 e-books were sold. On the Fnac site, it is in 8th place in volumes.
