73-year-old British musician sticks to Corona • "She can barely speak," the singer's husband said • "Heartbreaking," her friend wrote

British musician Marianne Faithpool has been tested and found to be Corona blue, New York artist friend Penny Arcade claims. In a post posted on her Facebook account, Arcade writes that the 73-year-old singer has been admitted to a London hospital since she was found carrying the virus last Thursday.

"She faced so many challenges in her life and survived - including the fact that she is Marian Faithpool, so falling for a virus would be such a tragedy," the post said. "I talked to her last week and she tried to hide from the virus, but there are people around her and one of them is the one who infected it."

Following the status, the company says it contacted Faithful's former husband, John Denver, demanding Faithful's peace. His response, she said, was that so far the singer's condition has not deteriorated but is "barely able to speak," and that she has been banned from receiving visitors to the vertebrate bed. As a result, another Faithful acquaintance, Tammy Faye, said she had heard about being infected with a virus from a person close to her.

"It's heartbreaking but I have hope," she wrote in her own post. "My heart and my prayers are directed at her recovery. Marian, please leave us."

Faithpool is one of the most respected musicians in British culture. Her activities span over six decades, and throughout her career she has worked with names such as David Bowie, Metallica, Nick Kiev and others. Among other things, she was also Mick Jagger's partner. Throughout her life she has known quite a few challenges and downs, not least due to long-standing addiction to severe drugs.

Faithful manager Francois Reverd confirmed the reports yesterday evening. "She is in stable condition and responsive to treatment," said a statement issued to American Rolling Stone magazine. "We all wish her well and hope for her full and quick recovery."
