(ANSA) - GENOA, APRIL 10 - The lifting of the second ashlar to complete the span P1-P2 has been completed in the Ponent area of the construction site of the new bridge in Genoa. The structural box, weighing 300 tons and a total length of about 35 meters, was placed at a height in support between the temporary pillar and the P2 pile using a 1200-ton crane with load-bearing capacity. With this lifting, underline the technicians of Fincantieri Infrastructure, the viaduct reaches the length of 944 meters out of 1064 overall. Thus three more decks remain to be lifted.
With the lifting of this segment of ashlar, the last main artery of the Polcevera valley, Corso Perrone, will once again be overtaken by the infrastructure which will restore the motorway axis east - west of Liguria.
