  • Not just a generation, race, and gender pick. "not sure"

It seems "uncertain" can feel really safe after three successful seasons and nominations for the Golden Globe and my mother. When Issa Ray broke into our lives it was loud and provocative, until it was difficult to read between the lines and understand what she really wanted to say. It has always been the same self-search in the world of the "big ones", the self-definition still uncoordinated and the desire to spend that exceeds any logic or thought of what tomorrow will be.

But Issa has matured in the three seasons since the series came up, and the series' writing and line she continues in season four indicate that the paralysis has weakened, and they begin to see Issa expressing herself and letting her inner voice be heard. She's not giving up on provocation, and there is almost no episode without some sex scenes, but that probably won't change next season either.

If in previous seasons Issa was in focus, but her insecurity led the line, especially with her good friend, learned and successful lawyer Molly (Yvonne Orji) - in season four Issa is already focused on what she needs and wants in both her career and personal life. This season, her friendship with Molly will be explored, and will return to Issa's exes as well.

"Unsure" manages to be more interesting this season, its characters have become more and more intriguing. It is no longer just a choice of generation, race and gender, and is not afraid to present a more significant vulnerability, sensitivity and plot.
