The Premier League remains united in wanting to end the current season, interrupted by the emergence of coronavirus. This is what emerged at the end of the video conference meeting, which took place this morning, among the representatives of the 20 clubs of the British top division.
Among the topics on the agenda, however, there was no discussion of the hypothesis, anticipated yesterday by some media, of a possible forced end of the season by June, with the possible cancellation of the days still missing. In the current state of the pandemic, with the United Kingdom preparing to experience another three weeks of lockdown, the Premier meeting focused on the various hypotheses of recovery which, in all likelihood, will not occur before June, with meetings held in closed doors.
