(ANSA) - NEW YORK, APRIL 17 - A new surprise from Bob Dylan: "I Contain Multitudes", I contain multitudes, is the second song in three weeks released by the Nobel Prize for literature, national icon of music of our time, after the deforce tour of "Murder Most Foul". That monumental piece, over 17 minutes out in March, had marked Dylan's return to recording new songs: a history of America starting from one of the darkest moments of the last century, the assassination of President JF
Kennedy. This time it is 'only' 4 and a half minutes that a melody reminiscent of the nostalgic "Beyond the Horizon" of 2006 unfolds: a confirmation for the fans that a new album of original songs could be coming and would be the first after "Tempest" of the 2012.
The announcement of the new song arrived on Twitter with a hashtag list: "#today and #tomorrow, #skeletons and # nudes, #sparkle and #flash, #AnneFrank and # IndianaJones, # fastcars and #fastfood, #bluejeans and # queens, #Beethoven and # Chopin, #life and #death. " Critically applauded "Murder Most Foul" and "ContainMultitudes" are Dylan's first original tracks since he won the Nobel: they follow three cover albums. (HANDLE).
