The tenor, who has known the Italian American artist for some time, was the highly anticipated guest of the evening and a poker of world stars was mobilized for his performance.

"The Prayer", initially recorded in two Italian and English languages respectively by Andrea Bocelli and Céline Dion for the world-wide Warner Bros film "The magic sword - In search of Camelot", was subsequently recorded in duet by the two artists and interpreted several times together in always exceptional contexts: during the awards ceremonies of the Oscars and Grammy Awards, both in 1999. On September 15, 2011 Céline sang it again in a duet with Andrea Bocelli during the great concert of the tenor which took place in Central Park, in New York.
