Franceschini, beach concessions extended to 2033

Minister Dario Franceschini has proposed inserting a regulation to dispel any doubts regarding the extension of the bathing concessions, already in place until 2033 , in the April decree. In recent months, in fact, some administrations have disapplied the rule introduced at the end of 2018: to dispel Uncertainty, the Mibact proposes the suspension of any re-assignment or reacquisition procedure possibly started. From what has been learned, Minister Franceschini proposed to insert a provision in the April decree, in the context of the extension of the bathing concessions already laid down by law no. 145 of 2018 until 2033, which avoids any doubt regarding the application of this measure by local authorities.
    In recent months, in fact, some administrations have disapplied the Italian law, ignoring the extension established at the end of 2018. Due to this uncertainty, Mibact has proposed a provision that suspends any reassignment or reacquisition procedure possibly initiated by the conceding administrations in contrast with the current extension until 2033.
    This suspension, expected up to the duration of said extension, was necessary precisely in order to give certainty to the economic operators who carry out their business using the assets of the maritime property, especially in this dramatic moment of crisis .
