NAPLES - Despite the coronavirus emergency, the Municipality of Naples does not renounce the May of Monuments which has been rethought and adapted to the lifestyle imposed by Covid-19. And so also this year, culture in May will be the protagonist albeit in a different form. Fans, Neapolitans and not, will be able to enjoy the cultural initiatives on the social channels of the Councilorship for Culture of the Municipality (Fb and Instagram). It starts on 2 May to end on 31. The chosen theme is "Giordano Bruno 20/20: the vision beyond disasters".
The cultural event will be opened by a "dutiful and heartfelt" tribute to the philosopher and honorary citizen of Naples, Aldo Masullo, who passed away in recent days: with video interventions by Minister Manfredi, Mayor Luigi de Magistris, Councilor Eleonora De Majo and Nuccio Order, professor of Italian literature at the University of Calabria who will speak with a lectio entitled "Philosophy as a way of life: Masullo reader of Bruno".
The May of Monuments starts, it will be online
