Between March 13 and 20, according to geolocation data collected by Orange, 1.2 million Ile-de-France residents took the key to the fields to confine themselves to the provinces due to the coronavirus crisis. Today, the question arises of their return.
Christophe Castaner, the Minister of the Interior provided some details. “When they left, they had the right to leave. We do not prohibit the French from returning to their main home to resume their work or send their children to school from May 11, "he explained on LCI adding that even those who had gone into exile more than 100 kilometers can do it.
The only condition: complete a return to home certificate for compelling family reasons.

Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, the Secretary of State for Transport, had already indicated on Tuesday that he wanted an "orderly" return of the million inhabitants of the Paris agglomeration.
"A certain number of these Parisians, who are temporarily exiled, are now making reservations for train tickets to return," he observed on France 5. "We will organize in the coming days the return of those who want ", knowing that the number of trains will remain very limited and that the SNCF will continue not to sell more than half of the seats, added the secretary of state.
