Berries are delicious, expensive and unfortunately also very sensitive. If you don't eat strawberries, raspberries and the like right away, they may already have rotten mold the next day. This is annoying - but also easy to avoid with this simple trick.
Preserve berries with the vinegar trick

Store berries correctly
Germs are killed after the vinegar bath , but the subsequent storage is also important so that the berries stay fresh for a long time. To do this, line a clean container with a kitchen towel and place the berries in it. So there is no chance of escaping moisture. Change the cloth regularly.
You can of course also store the berries in the container in which you bought them. Before doing so, wash it thoroughly with hot water and detergent.
If you use your own container, only loosely put the lid on so that no condensation forms.
Store the berries in the fridge
Strawberries, raspberries and Co. should be kept as cool as possible . The vegetable compartment is best suited for this. While the berries usually only last for one day at room temperature, they can be chilled for up to five days.
Freeze berries
If you freeze fresh berries , they should be as dry as possible. You can prevent the freezer from sticking together by repeatedly shaking the fruit until it is completely frozen.
