(ANSA) - MOSCOW, MAY 9 - A fire broke out in a Moscow hospital where patients suffering from coronavirus are hospitalized; one person died and 200 patients were evacuated. Emergency officials said so.
Spasokukotsky hospital no. 50, north of Moscow, hosted almost 700 patients infected with the virus yesterday. It is not clear what caused the fire or whether it had suimalate consequences present in the affected wing. Moscow's emergency services reported in one note that one person died and 200 patients had to be escorted out of the building. "The fire - they specified - developed in one of the rooms on the first floor, and the flames were quickly extinguished". Russian news agencies reported that the fire hit the intensive care unit.
