The four Spanish circuits are the basis of the project of Dorna, the company that manages the MotoGp championship, to save the 2020 World Championship. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Dorna has already prepared a calendar where seven of the twelve GPs will be held in Spain .
The agreement between the city council, the Andalusian government and Dorna to start Jerez with the Spanish Grand Prix on July 19th is now official. A week later, the first Andalusian Grand Prix in history will take place.
Of course, everything will be subject to approval by the Ministry of Health, but unless there is a dangerous regrowth of Coronavirus infections, Dorna will take extreme security measures, with a 14-day preventive quarantine for all participants in the MotoGP. There will be a 'paddock' of around 1,300 people, who will be tested before arrival and afterwards.
