Actor Jerry Stiller passed away at 92 years of age.
He was the son of the comedian, Ben Stiller , who, in the early hours of this Monday, released the unfortunate news through an emotional publication through his social networks.
"It saddens me to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, died of natural causes," Ben wrote on his Twitter account. "He was a great father and grandfather, and Anne's most dedicated husband for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. I love you, Dad," added the 54-year-old actor along with a beautiful portrait of his father in the middle of the nature.

Jerry Stiller was known, among other things, for his roles in the series "Seinfeld" and "The King of Queens". In the cinema he also made a long career; in fact, I act next to his son in "Zoolander".

Five years ago, precisely in May, Anne Meara , Jerry's wife and Ben's mother , passed away . The actress, who also appeared in "The King of Queens" and in the series "Sex and the City," died at the age of 85.
Like Jerry, Anne shared credits on the big screen with her son Ben. That happened in 2006, on the tape "Night at the Museum".
At that time (2015), it was Ben's representative who released the news through a statement. "The Stiller family is deeply saddened to share that their beloved Anne Meara passed away last night at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband and life partner Jerry Stiller. The two were married for 61 years and worked together for almost the same time."

In 2000, Jerry Stiller published the autobiography "Married to Laughter", about his marriage to his soulmate and comedy colleague Meara. Together, Jerry and Anne appeared multiple times on "The Ed Sullivan Show".
In 1997, Stiller was nominated for an Emmy for his role as Frank Constance, father of George Constance, in "Seinfeld".
