(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAY 13 - The total number of deaths in Belgium from Covid-19 has reached 8,843, with an increase of 82 deaths in the past 24 hours. The Centrodi crisis and public health SPF announced it today, adding that since yesterday 202 new cases have been reported, which correspond to a drop of 2% over the last seven days, for a total of 53,981.
Hospitalizations are falling. Seventy have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of patients to the hospital to 2,014, compared to 2,230 yesterday. It's an 8% drop. A total of 420 patients are in intensive care. Instead, 205 people are discharged.
