(ANSA) - WARSAW, MAY 13 - 595 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Poland yesterday, a daily record since the start of the pandemic.
The figure, the Ministry of Health has announced, brings the total number of infections to 16,921, including 839 deaths. 2,571 are hospitalized, while 6,131 are cured.
There are 96,211 people in quarantine.
80% of the new cases concern the region of Silesia, in the south of the country, where four coal mines were closed due to the coronavirus.
