(ANSA) - NAPLES, MAY 18 - The ritual of "tazzulella e cafe" returns to Naples, celebrated by Pino Daniele as a cure-all for forgetting trouble and starting the day well, but not for all the bars in the city. The order of the Campania Region enacted late yesterday evening in execution of the decree of the government on the reopening of today's shops, postpones the possibility of service to the coffee tables to Thursday 21 May, limiting drinks to the counter for the moment.
This resulted in different choices among the traders. Open small bars, closed almost all the most traditional ones that have their strength in the table service: from the historic Gambrinus in Piazza del Plebiscito to the Dipiazza dei Martiri Cafeteria, passing through the Gran Bar Riviera. However, among the most well-known are those who made different choices: they chose to reopen anyway, even without tables, Ciro a Mergellina and the Miramare in via Petrarca.
