Boy drowns in the bunting

(ANSA) - PAVIA, JUNE 06 - A 16-year-old boy died drowned this afternoon in a lake in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia), in Oltrepò Pavese. The alarm went off at around 2.30 pm, when it was reported that a young man had disappeared in the waters of the "7 lakes" (it is the name of the locality of Oltrepano municipality, frequented mainly by fishermen). The firefighters who started the search immediately went to the site, with the help also of the divers who arrived from Lake Iseo where they were carrying out another operation.
   For a few hours it was hoped that the report had been incorrect. Shortly before 17.30, however, the boy's body was found at a depth of about 5 meters and a dozen meters from the shore. On the spot also icarabinieri, the mayor of Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia) and operators of 118 who could not help but ascertain the death of the 16 year old went. The dynamics and causes of drowning remain to be determined.
