The positive trend of the curve of coronavirus infections continues. No Region, in fact, has recorded an RT greater than 1: it is the result of monitoring by the Ministry of Health-Iss. 'Good lockdown but still cases and caution'. Hope: 'Right path but still prudence and graduality'. ASL Roma 3, cluster of S. Raffaele 31 cases, 1 dead (ANSA)

The positive trend of the curve of the coronavirus contagion continues. No Region, in fact, recorded an RT greater than 1. This was the result of the monitoring of the Ministry of Health-ISS on the indicators for the so-called Phase 2 relating to the week between 25 and 31 May .

The estimate of the transmissibility index (Rt) for symptom start date in the period from 12 to 25 May, calculated on 3 June, reads in the monitoring "shows average values below 1 in all the Regions. As regards the estimate of the RT, it is underlined that when the number of cases is very small, temporary oscillations with Rt> 1 can occur due to small local outbreaks, without this necessarily representing a worrying element ". It is also underlined that, for the time between exposure to the pathogen and the development of symptoms and between these and the diagnosis and subsequent notification, many of the cases reported in this week probably contracted the infection 2-3 weeks before, or during the first reopening phase, between 4 and 18 May 2020.

"Active transmission outbreaks are documented in almost the entire Peninsula. This finding, which is largely due to the intense screening and investigation of cases with identification and monitoring of close contacts, however highlights how the epidemic in Italy of COVID- 19 is not completed ", highlights the monitoring.

The lockdown measures in Italy "have actually allowed a control of the SARSCoV-2 infection" but "in some regional situations, a number of new cases reported every week still high although decreasing persists" and "this must invite caution in what indicates that in some parts of the country the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 is still relevant ", notes the monitoring which requires" rigorous compliance with the measures necessary to reduce the risk of transmission such as individual hygiene and physical distancing.

"There is a strong improvement in the quality and detail of the data sent by the Regions to the Ministry of Health and the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and discussed in the Control Room". The new report on monitoring Covid-19 Ministry of Health-Iss which underlines that "overall the general picture of the transmission and impact of SARS-CoV2 infection in Italy is favorable with a general decrease in the number of cases and an absence of signs of overload of the assistance services ".

"Monitoring says we are on the right track. But caution and gradualness are still needed." So the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, commenting on the weekly monitoring

data on Covid-19. Asl Roma 3, in cluster S. Raffaele 31 cases, 1 dead - "As of today, 31 cases of which 9 employees, 2 external both family members of health workers and 20 patients are connected to the IRCCS outbreak San Raffaele Pisana and 20 patients of which 18 already transferred and 2 on transfer. In the afternoon of June 5, the facility was closed with a sanitary cordon ". This was communicated by the Extraordinary Commissioner of the ASL Roma 3, Giuseppe Quintavalle. "The structure - reads the note - is giving all the necessary collaboration to the ASL which today arranged a support of the health management to allow better support for the containment of the outbreak, the management of cases and their tracking. Epidemiological investigation is underway first of all on the organizational procedures and care pathways in order to identify a possible criticality that may have facilitated the spread of the virus among the departments in the face of the preventive measures adopted. At the moment the most accredited hypothesis of the index case is concerning some health workers, but the epidemiological investigation is still pending ".
