Is Israel facing a second wave of corona? According to data from the Ministry of Health (Saturday), 58 new coronas were discovered in the morning, and 3 people died of the virus (no data was released last night). The Ministry of Health has updated that over the past 24 hours, 16,133 tests have been conducted to detect the virus - a record number of tests.

As of today, 2,407 active patients are diagnosed with the virus. There was another decrease in the number of respirators - only 21. The total number of people recovering from the virus increased to 15,050 people.

The newest hospital is still Jerusalem, with 42 new patients since Thursday evening. In Tel Aviv, 39 new patients were diagnosed over the weekend, and in Bnei Brak 12.

During the past week, there has been a significant increase in the number of examinations carried out in Israel for the diagnosis of Corona patients, with most of the tests being carried out in the education system and in the south of the country where there is a fear of an outbreak in the city of Rahat.

As of tonight, 16,327 students and teaching staff are in isolation. 330 students and teaching staff were diagnosed as blue. Five other institutions were closed following suspicion of being infected with Corona. This increased the number of institutions that closed to 106.

The Ministry of Education said that the analysis of the overall data for the week indicates that most patients (approximately 56%) are from the city of Jerusalem (184 out of 329). Of these, about 80% are from the Hebrew Gymnasium (148 out of 184). Alongside systemic prevention, schools will continue to adhere to the preventative precautions of wearing a mask, maintaining hygiene, and maintaining distance as much as possible. The Ministry of Education emphasizes that over 99% of all educational institutions continue to operate normally.

"The Ministry of Education continues to conduct regular assessments and monitor the morbidity of the education system in a systematic and orderly manner. At the same time, it continues to lead a clear treatment policy to continue the curriculum, while enabling the proper functioning of the economic economy in Israel," the Ministry of Education said.

When is the train going back to activity?

Meanwhile, the HMO's Laboratory Director, Dr. George Frehrud, who claims: "All the laboratories are in crisis and there is no chance of meeting the defined quantities. This time it is not because of reagents or devices, but because we do not have enough manpower for the task. this".

In light of the worrying data, officials at the Health Ministry are calling for reconsideration of the train service, which is scheduled to take place on Monday morning. Due to disputes that emerged between the Ministry of Health and Transport and the rise in Corona's adherence cases, the Ministry of Health has put in place several new requirements for the opening of the train at the same time, with the option being postponed.

Transport Minister Miri Regev, who presses the opening, made a proposal that the number of passengers on the train be limited to 650 when passengers register in advance for the trip. She also suggested that tickets be purchased in advance through an app. The array of inspectors will be reinforced on the trains to enforce the guidelines. The inspectors will enforce a mask, a distance between passengers and more.
