Just before he is set to star in Steven Spielberg's remake of "The Suburban Story," young Hollywood star Ansel Algort, 26, finds himself at the center of a scandal. In a Twitter post on Friday morning (and has since been deleted), a woman named Gabi claimed that Allegour had sexually assaulted her a few days before her 17th birthday, after contacting him through his private snapchat account. 

"I was just a girl and I was his fan," wrote "Gabby" about the case, which probably happened in 2014. "Instead of asking me if I want to stop having sex, since it was my first time and because I was crying in pain, the only words that came out of his mouth were 'We need to get you in'. I wasn't mentally present. My mind wasn't there. in shock".

Allegour, who is famous for his role in the romantic drama "The Blame of the Stars," denies all the charges against him. In a post on Instagram on Saturday evening, he wrote: "Although I can't claim to understand Gabby's feelings, the events just didn't happen the way she describes them. I've never attacked anyone, and never will." 

Elgort later confirmed that he had previously been in a sexual-sexual relationship with the girl in question, but emphasized that her relationship was "brief, legal and in complete agreement." However, the actor apologized for his behavior and the way he severed the connection with her: "When I look at my behavior in the past, I am disgusted and ashamed." 

In addition to his starring role in "The Blame of the Stars," Elgurt also starred in the action movie "Baby Driver," "The Hunchback," and the "Split" film series. Towards the end of the year, he is set to star in two of his biggest projects of his career to date: Stephen Spielberg's remake of the classic suburb story, where he plays Tony, and the new Tokyo Weiss series, which is set to become one of the main attractions of the new streaming platform HBO Network.
