(ANSA) - COSENZA, JUNE 23 - The provincial commander of the Fire Brigade Massimo Cundari was arrested on charges of bribery and false public deed. Icarabinieri of the Operational Department of Cosenza carried out a precautionary custody measure in prison ordered by the investigating magistrate of the Prosecutor. The investigation stems from the complaint of an entrepreneur operating in the trade of petroleum products, who reported having been forced to pay a 'bundle' for the issue of administrative authorizations relating to the construction of a LPG plant. The complaint led the carabinieri to monitor Cundari's activities. Investigators reported the latest donation of money from the entrepreneur to the commander; money that was then confiscated.
