(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 15 - The president of Brazil, JairBolsonaro, also tested positive for the second buffer for the coronavirus: the head of state himself told CnnBrasil.
Bolsonaro said that he is feeling good and that he has no fever since 6 July. He also added that he should continue to use hydroxychloroquine (a drug commonly used against malaria) and azithromycin.
The President of the Republic had a first confirmed diagnosis for Covid-19 on July 7th. Since then he has been quarantined in the Palacio da Alvorada, his official residence in Brasilia.
Bolsonaro should undergo a third examination in the next few days to check if he is still suffering from the disease and will resume his normal activities. (HANDLE).
