(ANSA) - PARIS, JULY 16 - In France, the mask will be mandatory in all closed places open to the public from "next week": this is what was reported by the premier, JeanCastex.
The decree making the use of the mask mandatory in closed places (open to the public) will come into force "next week", therefore earlier than initially foreseen by President Emmanuel Macron, said the premier, Jean Castex, during an intervention in the Senate of Paris.
"We expected an entry into force of these provisions on the first of August," he recalled, adding: "I understood that this deadline might seem to come late (...) the decree will therefore enter into force next week." French Prime Minister Jean Castex predicts for 2020 "the worst recession" since the creation of France's public finances. (HANDLE)
