An Italian woman, 45 years old, was raped by a man she described as a foreigner, yesterday around 6 pm, in Milan while she was walking the dog in the park of Monte Stella, La Montagnetta di San Siro, in the north- west of Milan in the QT8 district. The victim of the attack was transported, in yellow code, to the Mangiagalli Clinic of the Policlinico. The police intervened on the spot, called by 118. The investigations are conducted by the Mobile Squad.

According to a first reconstruction of the incident, the victim of sexual violence was attacked from behind by a stranger, probably African according to what was reported, who threw her on the ground in a dirt path next to one of the pedestrian streets that cross the Montagnetta. After abusing the woman, the thug ran away.

The lady - in conditions of strong shock - once she managed to recover she met a runner who immediately gave the alarm. The Mobile Team will be able - when its health conditions allow - to ask for a more precise description of the man and if possible some details to be able to identify him. Monte Stella is located in a well-inhabited residential neighborhood and is constantly monitored by law enforcement officers who logically brought many patrols into the area last night to try and find the attacker. Normally runners, bike enthusiasts and families frequent the streets of Montagnetta near the XXV Aprile sports center whose frequenters often train going up and down the paths that reach up to fifty meters. It is therefore considered a relatively safe area especially during the day.
