    Written by Francesco Arlanch and Viola Rispoli, directed by JanMaria Michelini and Ciro Visco, produced by Matilde and LucaBernabei for Lux Vide in collaboration with Rai Fiction, laserie is inspired by the true story of the doctor Pierdante Piccioni, told in the book Meno Twelve (Mondadori).
    The medical drama tells of Andrea Fanti, an excellent internal medicine primary who, following a gunshot fired by the father of a boy who died in hospital, loses the memory of his last twelve years and finds himself a patient. Upon awakening from a coma, Fanti discovers that the brain trauma has also canceled the death of the son and the breaking of his marriage. Memories stop, in fact, before the mourning that has transformed him into a cold and detached doctor in whom he no longer recognizes himself. He starts studying again, getting to be better thanks to the empathy he establishes with the sick. He tries to rebuild the relationship with his etent daughter to win back the woman he feels is still his wife. In the new episodes Fanti continues to re-found his life, but the accusation of being responsible for the death of the young patient upsets him: he does not remember that case and therefore cannot defend himself. The only one who could help him is Dr. Sardoni, the colleague who took his place as primary and invecetenta to cover up the truth. To stay close to him, Giulia (Matilde Gioli), his former assistant, with whom he discovered that he had had a relationship in the past that now seems to be without future.
