(ANSA) (ANSA) - GENOA, JULY 23 - The prosecutor investigates the fraud of the State after the complaint by Fiom Genova against Arcelor Mittal who had requested, during the lockdown, the cassaintegration for employees. For Fiom it would have been an illegitimate use because the company had also obtained the derogation to continue working even in the blocking months. The procurator added Francesco Pinto delegated the financial police force of the finance guard, led by Colonel Maurizio Cintura.
Fiom secretary Bruno Manganaro had highlighted how Mittal had put the workers into the cash-covid immediately after having asked with two formal letters to the Prefecture for departure, in derogation to the lockdown legislation, of two production lines, the tinplate and the galvanizing line 3. The opening had been agreed with the unions after the sanification and the safety of the workplaces.
The investigation aims to understand whether ArcelorMittal, despite the request for production in derogation, then found itself in the objective condition of not being able to produce, or has taken advantage of the Covid cash-box thus obtaining public financing of which it would not have been entitled.
