The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Saturday that in the last 24 hours there were 40 new deaths from coronavirus. Thus, the total number of deaths in the country due to the pandemic amounted to 2,847, out of a total of 153,520 confirmed cases.
In the morning report, it was indicated that "40 new deaths were registered : 23 men, 20 residents in the province of Buenos Aires; 1 resident in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); 1 resident in the province of Santa Cruz; 1 resident in the province of Chaco, and 17 women, 14 residents in the province of Buenos Aires, 2 residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA), and 1 resident in the province of Neuquén. "
The average age among those infected remains 37 years, while in deceased persons it is 75.
Of the seriously ill patients who remain hospitalized in intensive care, 85.8% are in the AMBA, where the ICU bed occupancy level is 64.3%. While at the national level, that percentage is 55.5%.
