"We decided with Honda to try to race today, the times seemed good, but when I started qualifying I had a strange feeling on my arm, as if it were dead. At that point I decided to stop. I thank the doctors and the whole people who supported me. " So Marc Marquez, at Sky Sport, told of his attempt to be present at tomorrow's race in MotoGp. "The goal was to do more than 100%, I wanted to understand where my body could go. I am optimistic, for me the glass is always half full - added the Spaniard - I told Honda that I would go to Jerez to try, now I can sleep peacefully because I know I tried. When you have a passion for something you have to try it, this is my mentality. When they operated on me, I remained realistic and I tried to understand how my body was. But today I understood that I can't run in the race. "
Marc Marquez will not be on the starting grid of the Andalucian gp tomorrow. The pain in his right arm was too severe, operated just four days ago. The Spaniard of Honda this morning wanted to take part in the third and fourth free, albeit without pushing too hard, to check his physical condition. Just after the start of Q1, Marquez stopped in the pits and turned off the bike, renouncing to continue in qualifying. Then Honda's announcement, Marquez won't be there tomorrow. Marquez's renunciation of running was made official by Alberto Puig, Honda team manager. "Marc - Puig said - still feels pain in his right arm, we decided together that the best thing is not to do the race and think about the next GP. Marc felt good after the surgery, so he decided to do this test" . It was from 2012 that Marquez had not missed a race
