A small touring plane crashed today in the Swiss Alps causing the death of the four people who were on board. The accident occurred at 12.25 in the Gletscherspitze area in the municipality of Blatten in the upper canton of Valais. The dead - according to the cantonal police - are two 66 and 50-year-old Swiss and two 50- and 46-year-old Austrians, the generalities of which have not been disclosed.
