Under these tests, cultural bodies will receive a support rate similar to the one they received during 2019, although the extent of their spending on activities this year is significantly smaller.
In addition, 2020 will not be recognized as an assessment year for the purpose of determining future support for cultural institutions.
The amendment allows cultural institutions to receive, for the first time, 90% support for expenses related to online activities in the fields of cultural media and digital.
These amendments are intended to streamline the process of distributing grants in 2020, increase the budgetary certainty of cultural institutions, encourage these institutions to divert the cultural activity carried out so far in the public space to the digital space and continue the creative activity as much as possible.
